Privacy policy
This page explains how personal data is handled when you use this site and when you contact Smart IT.
Who handles your data
SMART-IT by SELKEA Sàrl, whose details appear in the legal notice. For any question about your data, write to info@smart-it.lu.
What you send us
The fields in the form: name, work email address, company name, the subject of your request and, if you fill them in, a phone number and a message. No password and no document is requested.
Why, and on what basis
To handle your request and reply to you. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request. If the exchange does not lead to a business relationship, keeping the message rests on our legitimate interest in retaining a record of requests received.
For how long
Three years from the last exchange, then deletion. If you become a client, the request joins the client file and follows its own retention period.
Who else has access
The Smart IT team. Email delivery is handled by Brevo, and the site is hosted on Google Cloud, in a data centre located in Belgium. Both handle the data on our behalf and for that purpose only, within the European Union. Your information is neither sold, nor rented, nor used for unsolicited marketing.
Cookies and trackers
This site sets no cookie at all, not even a technical one, and writes nothing to your browser's storage. It includes no analytics, no advertising and no content hosted elsewhere: fonts and images come from this domain. The site's security policy in fact forbids your browser from contacting any other server. That is why you see no consent banner: there is nothing to accept or decline. Hosting produces technical connection logs, needed for the security and proper operation of the service; they are kept for thirty days, then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction, its erasure, restriction of its processing or its portability, and you can object to the processing. A request to info@smart-it.lu is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD) in Luxembourg.
